Mr. Matthey,
Good morning! I attended the CISSP bootcamp you led a few weeks ago through the Army. You said to let you know, so I’m letting you know!
I scheduled my exam the week of your class and took it yesterday and passed!
Anyway, thanks again for the class and thanks for giving me tools to help get ready to pass!

Good Morning
I wanted to let you know that I did take and pass the CySA+ exam on Saturday. I think the course prepared me fairly well for the exam. I had also purchased the Pearson VUE study guide and practice exams and used prep courses on ItPro TV and Udemy. The one thing I would say is that I was not as prepared as I would have liked to have been for the performance questions. If I remember right I had six of them and they were much more in depth and more interactive than I expected (especially compared to Net+ and Sec+). I would say about half of them were similarly to the examples in the test prep questions, but the others were new to me. The information was definitely covered in the lessons/materials, but applying it was a bit more difficult.
Thank you for a great class
Very Respectfully

RMF/CAP
The instructor wrote the first RMF course for the CIO G-6 down at Fort Gordon and is highly qualified to teach all facets of the RMF process. His knowledge as a CISSP, and other well-respected industry certifications, make
him the ideal advisor/facilitator/instructor for this class. He has well over 40-years in the industry, including time with Microsoft, and is a certified instructor in many areas of cyber security, cloud-based structure, and the PKI environment in general.

Just to let you know that I passed the CAP exam last Wednesday! The Fundamentals and In-Depth RMF training sure played a part, the Official Guide to the CAP from ISC2 was pretty essential as a study guide. Additionally, there is no substitution from knowing certain NIST documents, especially 800-37, 800-39, FIPS 199, and 800-53r4. Again, thanks for the good RMF training.

My government facility provides contractual oversight of govt contracts with Newport News Shipbuilding. In my case, my group has technical oversight of shipboard mission critical networks. So, I am not an IT wanted to let you know that I successfully passed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional but need to know enough to be dangerous and ask the right questions. After your course, I’m definitely armed with the information I need. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

The course was excellent and prepared me well. Your approach to describing subject/objects/controls was very effective, and it is still stuck in my head. While I didn’t see all the topics you covered, the areas I did see were spot on.
Overall, great class and I passed in 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Thanks for the help!

Hi Mr. Matthey
I hope everything is going well with you, it’s good to see the new Matthey Training website. It must be rewarding to have several generations succeeding together. I have to say, out of all of the courses that I have taken throughout my Bachelor’s, my certifications and in-service training, you are by far the most effective, most engaging and most personable instructor that I have ever had–Thank you! Is there anything else you would like us to know?
Mr. Matthey was an excellent instructor!! He was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He gave us very helpful tips/shortcuts!! There was a lot of material but he managed to make it sound interesting and kept class moving a good pace. Also, I found that after his lectures, when I went home and read the book, I understood the material more thoroughly.
William,
Just wanted to express a sincere thank you for your hard work teaching the BAH CISSP Prep Course the week of Sept. 13-17, 2010. As mentioned the last day of the course, I took the (ISC)2 CISSP Exam on Sept. 18, 2010 and just today received my results. Though, I came out of the test figuring I had failed miserably, as luck may have it, turns out I passed. Thanks again, hopefully the other participants were as successful in their venture to obtain their CISSP certification. Cheers,
Timothy S

Good afternoon. I attended your CISSP training in Annapolis Junction, MD w/ Booz Allen Hamilton and wanted to let you know how I did on the exam. I ended up getting a test date on Jan 22nd and passed the exam in 2hrs and 53min. I just submitted my endorsement and other required documentation and currently awaiting the cert. Your class proved a success. Thank you. Andrew
Mr. Matthey,
I PASSED!!!!!!!!,
Thank you for all the hard work and encouragement. I left that test feeling that if asked to spell my own name i would have not been able too, lol While taking the test I used a lot of the tips that you gave and was able to answer with confidence most of the questions. Again thank you for the training and I look forward to taking the CEH (got to get the CPE’s) with you in the future.

Bill, I was just in your class last week for CISSP and I wanted to thank you for enlightening me with everything! I did have one question; I don’t seem to have down the name of the book that you suggested us to read. I remember you mentioning Information Security but I don’t know if that is the full name and who the author is. Can you help me with that again?
Deidra J, United States Cyber Command
Bill is a top notch trainer and has been working with us for many years. He is very dependable, and I know I don’t have to worry about a class if Bill is assigned as the instructor. If you have any questions about him feel free to reach out.

Bill has been a very valuable resource for Triple M Training for well over 15 years. He’s an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable, professional and most importantly – reliable. Students get way more than they bargained for when Bill is their instructor. Let me know if I can answer any additional questions
